Horse Show & Country Fair Hours
Gates will open daily at approximately 8:00 a.m. and close at approximately 10:00 p.m.
The Country Fair area opens around 10:00 a.m. for the Midway and Shopping.
The first Sunday, the gates will open at 11:00 a.m. and the Horse Show classes will start at 1:00 p.m.
On the final Sunday, the Hunter Derby class will begin at 10 a.m. and end at about 12 noon.

- Thursday, May 27 - Family Day #1, Sponsored by Hartstrings. Children 12 and under will be admitted to the grounds at no charge. Free children's raffle with drawings throughout the day! "Appetizers at Devon" cookbook for $18 ($2 off); buy one, get one free lemon stick; $.75 off smoothies at the Coffee & Drink booth; $1 off "Devon Special" (burgers/cheeseburgers and fries); $2 off wristbands for kids rides at the Midway; buy one, get one free hot dogs; buy one, get one free popcorn; $2 off Tea Cart Special: tea sandwiches, iced tea, cookie (free coffee with breakfast selections); buy one get one free Devon post cards at Souvenirs.
- Saturday, May 29, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Children's Day. Everyone from toddlers to teens can enjoy a variety of activities in the Pavilion. The cost is $4.00 per activity. Meet at the back of the Picnic Grove next to the Pavilion (across from the Garden Café). Meet Buzzbee, the B101 bee!
- Monday, May 31, 2:30 - 4 p.m. Devon Doggie Parade - New this year! Show off your pup in three categories; Look-a-Like, Devon Style, and Doggie Fashionista. ALL CATEGORIES ARE NOW FILLED! Three prizes in each category. Meet at the south end of the Main Grandstand. First place winners will be invited to parade in the Dixon Oval on Grand Prix evening! Dogs must be on leashes at all times.
- Tuesday, June 1 - Family Day #2. "Appetizers at Devon" cookbook for $18 ($2 off), $2 bag of new novelty candy at the Candy Booth, $.75 off specialty coffee drinks at the Coffee & Drink Booth, $1 off "Devon Special" (burgers/cheeseburgers and fries), $2 off wristbands for kids rides at the Midway, Hot dogs, soft drink and chips for $3.50, two soft drinks for $3 at the Soft Drinks & Ice Cream Booth, $2 off Tea Cart Special: tea sandwiches, iced tea, cookie (free coffee with breakfast selections), buy one get one free Devon post cards at Souvenirs.
- Tuesday, June 1, 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. (ongoing) Back Barn Tour Go "behind-the-scenes" and visit some of the most interesting areas of the Show. Look through a barn, or tour an equine ambulance, all the while learning about Devon and its history. Meet for this walking tour at the back of the Picnic Grove (across from the Garden Café). Free
- Wednesday, June 2, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Devon Hat Parade, Sponsored by Susan Scovill. Please join us for the annual Devon Hat Parade! Trot out your best hat and become a part of the Devon Tradition! This year's categories are: best botanical, best vintage and "Devon Diva." The winners in each category will enjoy prizes and a Cartier Champagne reception high atop the grandstands with judge Carson Kressley, and others. Registration begins at 12:30 at a kiosk near the front gate. Don't be late!
- Sunday, June 6 - Last Day of Country Fair! Free admission! All flowers and plants used to decorate the Show grounds will be sold at special discount rates in the Dixon Oval. The sale begins at 12:30 p.m. - don't be late for the best selection.
